No island theatre of 400 seats pays for a Broadway artist on ticket sales alone. That is

true of every presenter our size, and it is exactly why this ask exists.

Ticket sales cover part of tonight. Gifts cover the rest, and everything that comes after it.

The Maui singers and musicians sharing this stage, paid properly for their work. The

students who get to sit in that room. The programs Wave of Harmony runs in island

schools all year long.

Broadway on Maui was built on the idea that Maui should not have to get on a plane to

feel this, and that our own artists belong on the same stage as the ones we fly in. Both

halves of that take money. A gift of any size is what makes next year happen.
